Puppy Socialization – Puppies over 8 weeks of age and under 18 weeks of age.
Puppy Socialization is the single most integral step in raising a happy and mentally sound puppy. For years it was thought that a puppy should only participate in socialization opportunities following a full series of vaccinations… however after extensive review it has been discovered that the lack of proper socialization during a puppy’s critical periods of development (8-16 weeks of age) can be very detrimental. It has been determined that the possible risks of early socialization are worth taking to ensure that a puppy is properly exposed to the world it is going to live in.
